I heard that song a few months after my best friend died (Shwaggy, my dog) and I cried uncontrollably, but it felt good. Great story 🙂

this is so well-written, and not to take one thing away, ha ha, but i always considered the NGDB version of Bojangles to be the "happy" one, ha ha ha. just think if you had gone to see jerry jeff!! the music lives on.

oh yeah - i went to see jerry jeff in new orleans (recorded on the album A Man Must Carry On), and was weeping like your 8 yr old self - but i was 15!!
